In AF JROTC we have 4 teams that branch off of the AF JROTC program. One of the teams is called Sabre Guard of which deals with swords and as said in the name of the team sabres. I asked a series of questions to my fellow cadets and wrote down their response.

Victoria Lopez

Q: What is your role on the team?

A: I lead the team.

Q: Is it fun being on the team?

A: I’ve been on the team for four years, it’s more like a job. Jokes aside. I really like teaching and preparing my cadets for the future.

Q: Do you go to competitions?

A: No but this year I’m trying to spread it’s name some so hopefully for years to come they will do more stuff.

Q: How are the cadets on the team treated?

A: The cadets are treated like family while we joke around we can still crack down. I consider them my personal team of idiots and they all know that.

Q: How are the cadets on the team treated?
