I do not agree with schools uniform policy. I think that they’re unnecessary. Uniforms don’t stop bullying, improve attendance, exam results, and some people smiley can’t afford them. So what really is the point of uniforms? I understand that they’re here to “increase safety” but i feel that the school would be just as safe with or without uniforms, as long as we have uniform and or security guards. Clothes are a way to express yourself. Uniforms take away that ability. Denying teens the opportunity to express themselves and make those choices may make them not ready for the real world. We teens see clothing choices as means of identification, and seeking identity is critical for the journey to adulthood. The first amendment states that all individuals have the right to express themselves so with that being said uniforms are in some way, shape, and from a human violation. ari say no more uniforms.
