A POEM ABOUT UNIFORMS:

Anisa Lopez

Looking around at the sea of students,

Walking around in new fresh clothes and shining shoes,

This is every high schoolers dream,

However….

The bland clothing of red, black, and white would surely give any new student a fright,

While their dreams of personal style are shattered,

Bleak teens in uniform think they are so outdated,

Now thinking coming to school is way overrated,

Made to wear such plain old rags even if they came with brand new tags,

Prepared outfits are thrown back into closets while the ugly uniforms are pulled into the light,

Poor traumatized students cry into the night,

Will this be the end of high school fun while the student body is pulled through a run with these bland and dull uniforms….
