Classroom Poems (Sept 16)

Carolina Ford

As you should be

‘I’m sorry’
‘I said sorry’
‘Yes, and I don’t forgive you’
‘Why not?’
‘Because I don’t owe you my forgiveness, you hurt me’
‘I’m sorry though’
‘As you should be’

The Train

At this point,

I no longer read the map for the train

I catch one and ride till the end of the track

And walk through the station

With no destination in mind

Just the need to walk
