Earlier this week we completed an assignment that asked peers about their opinion on a variety of topics. This week’s interviewee was Jared Reed. His passion for the creative world around him fuels him to different.

Q: What is your favorite element of fashion? (shoes, jeans, hats, accessories, etc)

A: “Shoes would have to be my favorite. Supras are my favorite brand, they are comfortable and sturdy for skateboarding and dance.”

Q: What kind of girl would you take to homecoming?

A: “One who can actually dance because that’s what I’d be doing the whole time”

Q: Where does your determination come from? What inspires your creative passions?

A: “I don’t want to look like everybody else. I was drawing one day and from there I started.”

Q:What sets you apart from any other dancer/ musician/ artist?

A: “Nobody here really appreciates art over here, my passion is what keeps me going.”

Q: What is the hardest thing you’ve had to overcome during your high school years?

A: “Ignorant people. Ever since I cut my dreads my so-called friends left. At least I found out who my real friends are.”

    The last question saddens me. I can’t believe people choose their friends based on hairstyles. I’m glad you learned who you real friends are, Jared. You are a cool kid.
