Farewell, Wolverine

Aubrey Martinez

I’ve gone to Westside 9th-12th grade. I’m probably not going to finish here and move in with a roommate in Mandarin, so I am transferring to Mandarin High and most likely going to quit my job at Tunis. My employees are like family to me so it’s going to be hard to find a new job and make friends at a new school, but sometimes a fresh start is just what you need to get rid of toxic people in your life. I’m sad I wont be able to see Mr. Flint, Mr. Demps, Mr. Bennett, Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Maraghy and the coaches, who are actually cool. (R.I.P Mrs. Lero!) I feel comfortable at this school and I’m grateful to every teacher who actually cared about me and made me feel important. It was fun while it lasted but sometimes it’s best to get out of your comfort zone to be happy. Plus, my sister and brother-in-law live in Mandarin so I will have support from them, I’m going to miss y’all!!
