It is currently the 4th quarter of school and we have 2 weeks left before its over. This summer marks half way through high school for me and to be honest I don’t know how to feel about it. I used to love going to school but now I kind of just want it to be over. Right now I am on a mission; I must end this school year with mostly A’s. I need my GPA to continue to increase and I am trying to have the best grades possible by the end of this week so I don’t have to come back to school. I want to start doing things that I want to do and not things that I have to do like coming to school. At times I feel like school is a waste of time, well for me at least. I know my time is significant and there is lots of things that I can do and get good at if I had the time to pour into it. This crunch time mentality that I have right now is the mentality that I am going to have all next year so that by my senior year I wouldn’t have to do much at all. Coming out of 10th grade I am already going to have most of my credits needed to graduate so that’s what is next for me, graduation. Work hard now so that later you can relax.
