My story is about my job.

For as long as I could remember, I have always wanted a job to just be active, to get out the house and to just work in general.

I had always just wanted to do something to make money and just be able to just have extra money in my pockets.

Since my mom would always take my birthday money for “safe keeping.”

Even though I never got it back.

Almost all of my life, my family would tell me to just stop trying.

Every time I got rejected, or couldn’t work where I wanted to work.

This summer, 2023 I went on a total of 4 interviews.

But I had applied for over 20 jobs.

I worked so hard to just go around and asked stores if they were hiring.

What age, would I be able to work there.

I can’t lie. Every time, I went on an interview. I kind of gave my hopes up, and I would end up not getting a call back.

My current job: I prepared for it and I went in with positive thoughts, like I would any other one.

But this time, on site, they told me I got the job.

I waited 2 weeks to hear when my first day was.

I got kind of impatient, but then I heard something back and was able to start my job and now.

I’m going on 3 months strong.

I’m a hard worker, and I can tell that I’ve been a hard worker, since I could remember and I will never stop.
