Hilary Swank plays as a young teacher (Erin Gruwell) who works at a Los Angeles highschool in the movie “Freedom Writers”. Freedom writer teachers believe that everyone has his or her own story. One of Erin Gruwell’s strategies was assigning reading materials that related to their lives and encouraged them all to keep journals. The students in the high school were a problematic class, the students were in different gangs, and their behavior was very bad because they had difficult lives. At the end of the film Erin successfully prepared tons of high school students to graduate and attend college.
