Freedom Writers Diary review by Johnasia Williams

I watched this movie a couple times and every time I feel a different way about it. A good way. I love how Ms. Gruwell was so determine and passionate about getting her students the books and supplies they needed she even went out and got a second job to provide for her students like they were her own kids, I would love to have a a teacher like that. I like how actors played a good role with the black kids and how the caucasian teachers were acting towards them which is related to some people with a majority of caucasian teachers who underestimate them. Not all teachers treat their students the same and that was really displayed in the movie. Overall I love the movie and I feel like more people should watch it and be inspired to do good in school despite their teachers doubting them.
