Loading ...This movie is about the story of a woman going into her first year of teaching at a high school in a low income area where other teachers have given up hopes on the students. No teacher in the school wanted to put any effort in teaching the kids because they were a “lost cause”, until Erin Gruwelll started working at that high school. Mrs. Gruwell tried to figure out ways to get to know the kids personality so she could teach them better and understand them as people not just as students. When she gained the students trust she learned how to teach the students based on things they relate to. Using this technique allows students to grow academically and in all areas of their life. The theme of this movie is to never give up on things you believe in whether or not other people agree with you.
