A white teacher in a racially divided school has a class that is deemed “incapable” of learning. Despite that she never gave up and continued to inspire and encourage them to get an education and plan for the future. The work she assigns relates to their life outside of school making it easier for them to understand and this also united them in a way. This movie showed me that everyone has their own story and journey through life. Sometimes you have to put yourself in others shoes.
