Loading ...As a kid, my favorite holidays were Christmas and Halloween.
With both, you get free things.
In elementary school, holidays were always celebrated and one year, my 3rd grade year.
We had a class project to decorate a pumpkin for the trunk and treat.
I had no ideas, and no help, but my auntie helped.
I decided to decorate my pumpkin as a minion, from “Despicable Me.”
I came in 2nd place for the best pumpkin in the whole grade level.
It was out on display during the trunk and treat.
I had so much fun going from trunk to trunk, getting candy while all my classmates and teachers were dressed in costumes.
That’s my favorite memory of Halloween, because I got to be creative and receive treats at the same time.
