Was the Mario movie actually good? Or was it just Nostalgic.

Sean Mccarthy

The Super Mario Brother’s movie has become the world’s number one animated box office movie and yet the movie had a 59% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Yet, the audience score rated the movie with a whopping 96%. Most of the audience had the same exact beginning to there review. “If you told me when I was 5 years old that they’d make an Mario movie one day I wouldn’t believe it.” So did the movie do well from excitement of a person.s inner child?

Most people are talking about the Easter eggs towards the Mario universe, there practically everywhere to the original Mario voice, to an 8 bit Mario head in the sewers of Brooklyn.

When you watch the movie you’ll definitely find something that will make you excited to see, but is that all there is to the movie? many complaints people had was the pacing. it was terrible and some of the sound track wasn’t that good since they used songs from the 80’s during most of the montages in the movie that would go around one minute at best.

Although the story was great, it twisted things up for the better instead of a movie about a plumber saving a helpless princess, it turned into a defenseless plumber trying to rescue his brother from the strongest monster in Nintendo’s world, which brings me to another part of the movie, Earth and Mario land are completely two different places only existing threw portals or in Mario terms warp pipes.

From Easter eggs, to story telling, too the hit sensation which was Jack Black’s new song “Peaches”.

The super Mario movie in the eyes of millions was an Absolute hit successes.
