I Lena Washington, have personally witnessed the shortage of teachers. Many quit, retire, or not apply at all. Students require learning and since we don’t have any teachers, we are struggling to pass our classes. Transportation services are low; especially for bus drivers in Duval County. Busses come late because there isn’t any other busses to get the students from their stops, and many have to deal with reckless students and terrible car crashes! Lastly, NO REFEREE! I have many rescheduled games due to missing refs, if there aren’t any now; will there be any in the future? Hopefully, more adults will come up and apply for these spots and step up not only for students but for us all in the future generations!
